[news lead] Northwest Lawmakers View Vocational School Handiwork-Legislators from Northwest Alaska Examine a Handicraft Display Shipped to the Dept. of Economic Development and Planning at Juneau from the New William E. Beltz Vocational School at Nome. The Items Were Made by Students in the School's Arts and Crafts Program. They Will be Loaned to the Federal Gov. for Display Purposes and Then Returned to the School. The Federal Gov., under the Manpower Develop. Training Act, is Financing First-Year Operation of the Vocational School. Legislators Shown Here Are, from Left, Senators Eben Hopson of Barrow.
