[news lead] The Gas Squeezer: The Central Gas Compressor Plant is Located on Atlantic Richfield's Side of the Prudhoe Bay Field and is Comprised of 30 Large Modular Buildings. Eight of These Modules Make-up the Field Fuel Gas Unit Which Will Provide Natural Gas for All Prudhoe Facilities and Four Pump Stations Along the Trans Alaska Pipeline. The Remaining Gas Will be Reinjected into a Sub-Surface Reservoir through Injection Wells That Are Being Drilled by Two Rigs in the Far Background. The Prudhoe Bay Field Contains 26 Trillion Cubic Feet of Gas.
