[news lead] X-Ced Students - University of Alaska Fairbanks Students Lena Wroan and James Ayuluk of Chevak (Above) and Mildred Leavitt (below) of Barrow Are Enrolled in UAF's Cross-Cultural Education Development Program (X-CED). The Three Were among X-CED Students Recently Visiting the Fairbanks Campus. The X-CED Program (Formerly Alaska Rural Teacher Training Corps, or ARTTC) is Described by the University as a "Field-Centered, Cross-Cultural Approach to Several Aspects of Educational Development in Rural Alaska." We Guess That Means That the Program Educates Teachers in the Bush.
