[news] Miss Kotzebue-Although a Most Charming Miss World Eskimo Olympics of 1970 Was Chosen in the Person of Miss Jo Ann Joseph of Stevens Village, Who is Also Miss Fairbanks, Many People Expressed Disappointment When Miss Alice Weber, Miss Kotzebue Did Not Place at the Native Queen Pageant of the Eskimo Elympics of July 31 and August 1. The Olympics Goers Pointed out That Alice Showed Dignity, Poise, Fine Enunciation of Speech and Presentation. Alice Did Win a Trophy but Completely out of Her Category as Queen Contestant. She Won a Parka Contest with Her Parka She is Wearing Above. The Parka is Squirrel Skin Trimmed with Wolverine, Her Parka Ruff is Wolf and Wolverine.
