[news] Sen. James Abourezk, Chairman of the Indian Affairs Subcommittee of ;the Senate Interior and Insular Affairs Committee, and Alaska Sen. Mike Gravel Look over Their Schedule for Hearings in Alaska Beginning Thursday, Sept. 2, on Aspects of Implementation of the Indian Self-Determination Act. Hearings Will be Held in Juneau on Thursday, and Friday in Anchorage, with Abourezk Presiding. Gravel Will Continue on to Bethel to Preside at Hearings of the Subcommittee There Saturday Morning. He Will Fly to Fairbanks for Hearings There Saturday Afternoon. Gravel Was Made a Temporary Member of the Subcommittee in Order to Preside at the Hearings. Senator Ted Stevens, R-Alaska, Has Been Invited to Participate in the Hearings.
