[news] Deering Classes on Tour - Seventh and Eighth Grade Students from Deering Began a Five Day Trip to Anchorage March 7, with a Short Stop in Fairbanks. They'll Stay with Friends of Teacher-Principal Mike Cline, (Standing behind Students), and Visit NANA Development Corp., the Alaska Native Medical Center, a Police Station, Radio and Television Studios. The Trip is Funded through the Federal Johnson O'Malley Program. from Left, the Students Are Karen Moto, 14; Peggy Karmun, 13, Maxine Karmun, 14, Robert Moto, 13 and Eddie Karmun, 16. The Girls Made Their Parkas in Sewing Class.
