[news] The Board of Directors of the Alaska Federation of Native Met with Gov. Cowper Dring Their Annual Meeting in Juneau Feb. 12. Shown Above Are, from Left Ivan Gamble, Janie Leask, Morris Thompson, Cowper and Glenn Fredericks. Cowper Discussed His Budget Priorities with the Board and said His Administration Will Work to See That Necessary Cuts Do Not Unfairly Affect Rural Alaska. At the Meeting , the Board Decided to Work Cooperatively with the Alaska Native Coalition in Amending Proposed 1991 Legislation.
